Conservation

A COMMITMENT TO CONSERVATION.

One of the basic lines of the BioDomo activity is the conservation programs with other national and European zoological or botanical organizations, either through animal exchange, information or participation in European breeding programs for endangered species.

The BioDomo will be integrated in AIZA (Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquariums), EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquariums) and EUAC (European Association of Aquarium Conservationists) and already participates in international on-site and ex situ Conservation programs, as a Project with local communities in Madagascar for mangrove protection and lemur habitat, or a breeding and reintroduction of a native turtle species in Nepal.
